Hi Friends!
Welcome and thank you for being one of the first subscribers to my newsletter. Here is another Friday Recs weekly post. A list of all the things I found worthwhile this week. Feel free to forward this along to friends.
What I’m watching
Antman and The Wasp: Quantuamania
Marvel is falling from grace and it is sad to see. In this movie’s defence, it is still better than the Thor Love and Thunder Disney XD waste fest we got last year. The only respectable character in this movie is Kang. And his bucket was full of holes.
Is it worth a watch? Well, I’d leave that to you to decide.
What I’m reading
If I want you to take anything from this newsletter, it’s these two things that I’m guilty of and you might be guilty of as well:
This simple comic (and my quote of the week) fully explain why chasing happiness as an object is a double-edged sword.
Being the advice giver. Of this, I am most certainly, 100% guilty. And what’s funny about this is I’ve noticed! When I give advice, I feel spent. Almost wasted. And there’s another warm feeling that occurs as well. It doesn’t feel good.
After reading this blog I finally have a name to put to it and how to stop it.How to tame your inner advice monster

Quote I’m thinking about
“Happiness is a mood and it’s a condition, not a destination. It’s like being tired or hungry, it’s not permanent, it comes and goes, and that’s ok. And I feel like if people thought of it that way, they’d find happiness a lot more often.” - One Tree Hill
Shout Out To Chris For Bringing This To My Attention!
